FAQs
What should I bring to class? Bring a water bottle and workout gear that you can move well in. Please ensure you bring and wear grip socks for class. This is for hygiene and safety reasons. If you forget these then they are available to purchase at the studio.
Where can I find the studio? We are located next to Headmasters, just off of the high street in Balham and a short walk away from the tube and train station.
If I'm pregnant, can I come to class? We would recommend coming to our prenatal classes which are specifically designed to support you in all trimesters of your pregnancy and with instructors who are trained in supporting and guiding you through your movement. For all classes - please ensure you flag to the instructor that you are pregnant and that you have consent from your doctor or midwife for this type of movement.
What's the cancellation policy? If you book a class you may cancel up to 12 hours ahead of the class and receive all your credits back to your account. If less than 12 hours then you won't receive your credits back. If you have booked through ClassPass, please refer to their own guidelines on cancellations as they are a separate entity.
I'm a beginner/ new to pilates/ returning from injury? We would recommend coming to a minimum of 5 Foundations classes before you transition into our Pulse or Power classes. The Foundations classes will get you to understand the reformer machines and spring changes better as well as getting comfortable with the basics like the breath, core control and general form.
What if I'm running late? Doors open 10 minutes before class and close as the session begins. Unfortunately we can not accept late arrivals as this causes disruption for others and can be unsafe for those who miss the warm up or important instructions at the start of the class.
